All-on-six
In our dental and implant centre, we use the immediate, so-called All-on-six implantation technology in addition to the traditional implantation / tooth implantation. This procedure is very appealing to many people, as in today’s fast-paced world, no one has half a year to wait for their teeth. Most people want an immediate replacement and to make this happen, the technical background is very important.
Immediate implantation / tooth replacement can be used in cases of complete tooth loss or multiple missing teeth next to each other. Its main advantage over traditional implantation is that the patient is without teeth for only a few days after tooth removal and then receives a fixed, screw-fixed, temporary, composite denture that may be strained immediately. Since these restorations are screw-fixed, after a few months of healing, the temporary denture can be simply unscrewed from the dental implants and the permanent restoration can be simply prepared and screwed on without surgery.
An additional advantage is that this technology makes it possible to avoid bone replacement in general. The most advanced materials are used for the procedure. The implants themselves are no different from traditional ones, but the implant heads, the abutment itself, are a big leap in quality compared to traditional techniques.
Whereas in traditional implant procedures the implants are always inserted in parallel, in All-on-six procedures we often insert tilted implants with an inclination angle of up to 50-60 degrees. This helps that in many cases we are able to place implants without bone replaacement from inferior quality bones as well, all next to a more simple work process, as the dental implants are placed where the bone mass is most favourable/absorbent.
A complete set of teeth can be placed on just 4, 5 or 6 implants.
